hearty congratulations and prayers for the "pentecostal council of india". i am happy to read the names and see the faces of personal friends, especailly some of them known to me personally since 1966 (brother thomas vadakakut). the pentecostal churches of india have played a key role in the evangelization ministry, but now it is high time to engage in the humanitarian ministry too, because both evangelization and humanitarian ministries are inter-connected. while the disciples had zero concern for the hungry followers, jesus was always concerned with their need of scorching hunger and physical sickness.
as followers of christ, we have a
spiritual and moral obligation to preach the good news as well as to wipe the tears of the hurting people in any way possible; then only the ministries can get a passing grade before the lord.
