As long as IPC remains just like any other human organisation, there is no problem in conducting election the way it is being conducted. In the election process of IPC, one could see all the so called evils that are connected with the election which should not have taken place in a church which claims to be that of God.

The vast response of the readers showing displeasure at the current election format of the Churches is a big sign board alerting for a totally radical change. It is high time that the Ministers of the gospel, mainly the Pastors will have to take the Bible and get out from the comfort zones; but preach the gospel and spend more time with the believers in their spiritual problems. The laymen (believers) will have to take the general administration of the Church. Whether it is in the Episcopal Churches or Pentecostal
Churches, the Ministers of the gospel
are spending far less time in their
divine calling, but spending the higher
percentage of their time in business
meetings-administration-selections of candidates- and a whole lot of secular
jobs inside the Church. If the Ministers are constantly engaged in the
warfare of leadership, they will never
get time or peace of mind to do the
Ministry.
