In the Episcopal Churches, the Bishops and the Priests take full control of the Church administration, and the laymen are voiceless observers simply being used by the priestly hierarchy as
money making objects. The same thing is happening in the Pentecostal Churches too. The ordination procedure in the Pentecostal Churhches is far
easier. Any Pastor can lay the hands on another person and anoint him as a
Pastor..very easy religious procedure; so brother so and so is instantly transformed as Pastor or Rev. Now the vast majority have a craving to add "Dr."along with "Rev".
Why a well respected and genuine follower of Christ in the Church without
having a "Rev" " Pastor" title can't be
elected as the President of the Church?
I am not a theologian, so greatly confused about this topic. If the belivers will run the administration, the Pastors can spend their valuable time in spreading the good news of the

Social upliftment: It is not a problem at all, because the vast majority of these professional preachers are totally
spiritual and they are blind towards the social needs. They simply take care of their personal social needs only.
Singers can can sing for long, and these
preachers can preach for a very long time. They don't like to give these
great sermons plus ready-made prophecies
in Africa or north India, because the greatest sinners are located in Gulf
countries and in the Western world.

@ jobin mathew and thepraize- do you all think the world is not looking at what is going-on in other indian malayalee church denominations.what is happening among jacobites and marthomites churches. don't you see the politics and infighting going on there too. what do you call that one "kasttam" or "kaassttom", either way is fine for me. by saying that i am not trying to justify any church.if the churches and its inhabitants, i mean the so called believers, are not lead by the holy spirit and is lead by something else all of this are bound to happen. my opinion - the churches should be lead by the holy spirit under the initiation of spirit-filled, reputable servants of god, and i am not going to call them church leaders, they are servants of god.they shall be elected unanimously based on their reputation and competency and not by electoral process. church is no place for politics nor it shall be an extension of any political party. almighty the god we worship is the only leader.

i know of some thing. all preachers are not leaders. some dont interefere in these matters. a few months back pr babu cherian was here in the uk. afte a private conversation, i am sure he is not the knid of a person to be in the big time politics. so, surely he will not be candidate. we want him teaching the church not spending his time for these things!
we want visionary leaders. people who have passion for the ministry, churches, pastors and believers. see to those of them who has done something in the past for the lord.
i would suggest pr m. p. georgekutty as state secretary, for he is truly a man of god, understands the people, man with vission and mission, talks truth fromhis heart. give him a chance!
i would suggest pastors jacob john, babu cherian, sunny kurien, (i think they ahave a clean image) k c john, valson abraham (though works mainly for their kingdoms, they have a potential to be leaders and guide the church streight, the only thing they have to use it

@jobin mathew, i for some reason have to agree with your general remarks on pentecostals and would like to add they are the largest group of hypocrites on this planet earth,they claim they are holier than the holiest,somehow do not contribute 1 percent to either nation building or societal upliftment, atleast i have not seen all my long years of knowing them,however if you ask them to preach you will find no dearth of preachers and can go for hours on any topic of your choice,really kashtam thanney !!!
